I recently tried the mini tarts from La Madeleine, and they were absolutely divine! The flavors I chose were the lemon tart, fresh fruit tart, and chocolate tart. Their bakery section is absolutely amazing! They are so delightful and the cake is incredibly tender. Not too sweet either with a wonderful texture. The environment is perfect for afternoon tea or lunch or even breakfast. Great staff! It's a favorite place to frequent with my mom.
This is honestly my childhood La Madeleine, so I might be bias, but this place has been consistent for YEARS. The food, the coffee, everything has been solid and delicious every time. I always get a Mocha Latte when I come here and it's always sooo beautiful/pretty looking, I'm afraid to ruin it, but it's absolutely delicious every time. I'm a huge Chicken Friand eater too, so I get it every single time, and almost always, it's perfectly crispy/flaky.
The service here is great, everyone is super nice and they clean up tables rather quickly so there's always a place to sit.
